The IUCN Academy of Environmental Law, together with the Tilburg Sustainability Center is hosting a workshop where we aim to critically consider what is required from legal frameworks in order to enable city authorities to promote or enhance climate resilience. The workshop will provide interested participants from academia, practice or government the opportunity to critically question whether cities can rely on existing legal instruments such as planning and building regulations, etc to achieve resilience, or whether a new regulatory framework is needed.
